It is of upmost importance at any equestrian facility to have a professional trainer that is knowledgeable in every facet of the field. An upscale facility with all the amenities, but without a experienced trainer leading the program, cannot offer riders an understanding of horsemanship.
Amy Scheick Gasaway is the barn manager and lead trainer at Flying Change Farm. She has over 25 years of riding experience with equestrian riding and has been training professionally for eight years. She has great passion for the sport and extraordinary devotion to improving the life of horses and the children who ride them.
Amy started riding when she was seven years old and has continued ever since. She has been affiliated with several barns, exchanging lessons for chores to gain opportunities to work closely with horses. Over the years, Amy has been the lead trainer at several facilities while developing great relationships with customers.
In 2006, Amy's family invested in a 32-acre piece of land and developed what is now Flying Change Farm. Combining previous experiences at other stables, they created a facility providing high-quality, personalized care and training that encourages all levels of riders to enjoy their passion.
